Q: What is Etihad’s current policy on ticket validity?
A: Current COVID-19 commercial policy allows ticket validity to be extended after two years of date of issue but only if tickets have been reissued to a future date before they expire. To avoid the loss of value of a ticket, please ensure tickets are reissued to a future date before they expire.
Q: What is Etihad’s current refund process?
A: For travel originating from USA, Canada, Great Britain, European Union (including Switzerland) and Australia, refund is applicable at anytime
For travel originating from all other countries:
- For tickets with original travel date before 1 Oct 2020, refund will be processed only after 12 months from the date of impacted flight date as reflected on the ticket. To avoid the loss of value of a ticket, please ensure tickets are reissued to a future date before they expire.
- For tickets with original travel date on/after 1 Oct 2020, refund request can be made immediately
